Well, I’ve never heard of bog bursts before. It might be something we become more familiar with if global weirding continues to produce droughts followed by storms…

I thought about that. But suspect that on balance human carving up of bogland and degradation will make bog bursts less likely overall. Eg Solway Moss raised bog has been carted away to garden centres mostly.
